Very unfortunate, Yao hurt his knee - out for 6 weeks+. Tmac out indefinately. Rockets are really done for this season. F**ing Tim Thomas.

Yeah, pretty much. If McGrady doesn't come back soon and start tearing through the lane, it's pretty much over for the Rockets, which sucks because I am a Rockets fan. They could have won last night against the Clippers, but they just needed one more person to step up. Unfortunately, no one was there. However, they are better equipped than last season.

well, if the rest of the team steps up -- because they do have some players who can play but just haven't really shown up then they can still make the playoffs and when Yao and TMac come back they can step up the level of play and then when in the playoffs really step it up but if the other players on the team don't step up then they are done. Maybe there needs to be a trade with some of the players who have a supporting role and bring in one or two guys who can really help them. The Rockets are ok though because they still have a big lead over the number eight seed.

Hopefully not, if T-Mac and Yao are back by the end of the season, and the rest of the team can keep things above elimination they can win

Yea, unless someone REALLY steps up. I mean Not just someone but everybody on the team REALLY steps up. Otherwise, they are done. Don't blame Tim Thomas, these things happen in the NBA.

Dont count them out yet.....

They still got some good players like Shane Battier and Bonzi Wells.......

If Alston, Luther Head and Battier continue to play like how they are.. and Bonzi Wells and Juwan Howard stepp upp.. they can still won a lot of games..

and Chuck Hayes is ballin..

they still got a good chance
