Yes undoubtedly.
Communication by email and the ability to use google (and a few others too) to research and get answers that I might have waited AGES for before.
A wonderful tool - both for work and recreation.

I have met people from all over the world that I play bridge with that have become friends. I can send a message anywhere that can be received instantly. While in Iraq I could send email to my wife and get an answer in the same day. I have learned a whole lot. I play games like Sudoku and others. I have met people that I have gone mountain climbing with. With the exception of my wife and parents the internet has changed my life more than anything.

The internet has increased my quality of life. My consulting business since 1994 has been primarily E-based and has maximized my time. Also information and other resources are at my fingertips rather than a run to the library or to bookstores, etc.
On a personal level, my family, mostly military, are scattered across the globe... but the internet provides us with a connection that is as richly rewarding as being under the same roof.
So, all in all, the internet has greatly improved my life... thanks for asking.

It has consumed a lot of the time in my life. Given me volumes of useless "information" and "entertainment". If you include aspects like Instant Messenger and e-mail, it has allowed me to stay much closer to my family, even all the way over to Iraq when my son has spent two tours of duty over there. It has taken away a lot of my time from books and paper, which I regret. So, if it weren't for the improved communications with my family, it's been a waste. God Bless you.

It has kept me connected to family & friends, and allowed me to easly send photos and video to them. It has also helped me too rekindle old friendships and make new friends.
Without it, I would be very lonely.
So my life has changed in a good way because of hte internet.

It is the information center. Gather large amount of data in a short period of time without the need to go out in the field or making any calls.

It helps me research information faster, although not as thorough as books, they are useful for general or quick facts.
