Like, in classical music or anything else? Canon is kinda repetitive and I've heard it enough but here's some stuff I like:

I can't resist Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor...the one done with a whole orchestra - awesome strings!

I find how they arranged Mozart's music in the movie Amadeus completely perfect and it like makes me cry (every single piece -- great movie!) I LOVE some of the pieces from LOTR, too.

Happy listening (I LOVE MUSIC!!!) & Merry Christmas!

-The Young Prince and The Young Princess from Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherezade
-Pini Di Roma by Respighi
-La Fille aux Cheveux de Lin by Debussy
-Miserere by Allegri

Those are ones that I think are lovelier than Canon. :)

I can honestly say there is nothing lovelier...The Trans Siberian Orchestra does a fantastic version of it with lyrics...I had never heard it like that before...
Another personal fave that is right up there is Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata...I could listen to that all day...and night! LOL

sorry, Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor sound more lovely to me... but it's just a matter of taste, I like Pachebel as well

Zen, fur elise IS beethoven. and your point is?

i've heard so many other tunes there were prettier than the canon you mentioned, which is a major scale going down. for ex. lizst's sonetto is very pretty.

That is a beautiful piece!! I must say I love Christian and Gospel music more because it glorifies my Savior. I love Gospel Goes Classical CD. There is a song called Falling In Love with Jesus by Jonathan Butler that will leave you breathless. :)

Nothing! Guess what? I can play it on the piano, the whole song, it sounds really, really good, I can also play "Fur Elise" by Mozart!
I'm not lying, cross my heart.
