ive heard that washing , then drying them with a shammy cloth. after that apply baby oil to them , after a few mins wipe the oil off and the shoes will shine like glass.

Wipe with a clean cloth, dry , and then spray an even coat of hair spray on them.

Polish them with plain milk (use all cotton cloth)

why don't you try doing a spit shine......you know...like they do in the marines.
