Santa Claus once existed. The true story of Santa Claus begins with St. Nicholas, who was born during the third century in the village of Patara (now on the southern coast of Turkey). St. Nicholas used his whole inheritance to assist the needy, the sick, and the suffering. He dedicated his life to serving God and was made Bishop of Myra while still a young man. Bishop Nicholas became known throughout the land for his generosity to the those in need and his love for children.

Andy, your little friends are right. They have been affected by reality in a realistic age. They believe what they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their little minds. All minds, Andy, whether they be men's or children's, are little. In this great universe of ours man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect, as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth and knowledge.
No, Andy, there is no Santa Claus. He doesn't exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion do not exist, and you know that they are nowhere to be found as their dearth gives to your life its basest ugliness and unhappiness. Alas! How scary would be the world if there were a Santa Claus! It would be as scary as it is with Andy in it.

Santa Clause, (Who delivers presents and gets around in a flying sleigh with reindeer), does not exist (Although there was a St. Nicolas in existance.)

absolutely........I know a few adults who have had their faith restored. St. Nicholas was real, many saints still walk the earth according to scripture.
