Yeah they do, it makes their music sound better, and people say crap like "That band is just about sound effects", well why dont you go say this crap about Dr Dre, his music is alll sound effects, all he does is rap to it. Maybe if other bands started using sound effects more, they would be good, jesus

I guess you would just have to go to a U2 concert to understand.
The new stuff coming out is up on the website. I really like it when they go back to the less techno stuff...

Any self-proclaimed Irishman in my book should not be talking about the 'Great Potato Famine' as something supported by the British government one moment and then accepting status as a British knight the next. It is against the idea of being Irish. There, I have said it. Have some pride in your people and remember your history. How unpatriotic.
Also, he was a punk. Do you think Mick Jones wants status as a British knight from the monarchy? They were against that type of thing. He gets a hard time accepting an award from the American Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame because he has become 'a sellout' according to the media, when The Clash worked damn hard for that and paved the way for a lot of bands and made little money doing it.
There is a reason why they are in the history books as legend and why Rolling Stone lists them as one of the most seminal, inspirational bands of all time. Now, who's the sellout, married to corporate America?

because they just plain suck. There are way better bands that get barely any radio play that deserve it much more.
Plus, sound effects sound horrible live && shouldnt that be what rly counts? the live show? you can doctor up your music as much as you want, but you cant fake all that stuff if youre playing live
rap is a different style of music, they dont claim to have instruments then play all these sound effects, they just use soundeffects
either way, its sounds much better if its just raw good music instead of having all that crap put in

u2 sucks. Also Bono is a pompous asshole. In rap they are not trying to be original. Bono is. Bono is a freakin jerkoff.
