A girl can get pregnant before her first period if she has sex a short time before her first period was going to start. However, it sounds like there's something more going on here. Most people get their period before they're 16, and if there's a medical reason she hasn't gotten it yet then it's unlikely she'd get pregnant. But birth control pills aren't ever used as a fertility treatment, so I'm pretty sure you don't have all your facts straight. I'd suggest that you talk to your girlfriend and her doctor and figure out exactly what's going on.
The "pull out method" is NOT a method of birth control. The pre-ejaculate can still contain sperm, and the girl can still get pregnant even if the guy "pulls out" before he ejaculates. You should always use a condom to protect from STDs as well as pregnancy.

Oh, my! Another one of THESE questions! Wow. People ask this question 17 times per day. Yes, yes, yes, she can get pregnant!!!!!! I think all of you asking about the so-called pull-out method know deep down that she this silly ineffective "method" does NOT prevent pregnancy. This is why they invented birth control, for goodness sake!!!
Even if you *always* pull out before you ejaculate, which isn't always a sure thing, there are plenty enough sperm in the droplets of fluid that leak out of your penis well before you ejaculate. You probably aren't even aware of this pre-ejaculatory fluid.
But she could easily get pregnant from it and many, many women have. This is why they invented contraceptive birth control.
Here is how it works: she goes to the doctor or Planned Parenthood Clinic and gets birth control pills, she takes them every single day without fail at the same time of the day, and she doesn't get pregnant (99 percent of the time).
Or you can continue to use the so-called Pull out method and she will eventually get pregnant, probably sooner rather than later since 16-year olds are ridiculously fertile and get pregnant really easily.
So unless you are ready to be a dad, and unless she wants to be yet another 16-year old high school dropout teenage unwed mother cliche, then you should do the responsible thing and get some pills. Its really not that complicated.

yess she can do both yourselves a favor and buy a pack of condoms. the pull out method is not a good method of birth control at all. if your mature enough to have sex then u should be mature enough to go to a drug store and buy condoms or go to a sexual health clinic like planned parenthood they will give you free condoms.
