I'm a huge Jets fan. I know that if the Jets win their next two games they qualify as a wildcard team. However, if they should lose one of their next two games (like against Miami Monday night) and they finish with a 9-7 record, would I have a better chance of still getting the wildcard if the Broncos or Bengals win the game in progress? Thanks for any info. I want to know who I'm rooting for in this snowy game.

if the broncos lose then the contenders for the wildcard don't get a good chance to make the wildcard and my fav TITANS and your JETS might not make it if the bengals win so your rooting for the BRONCOS!!!! go JETS AND TITANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I'm a die-hard Jets fan as well, and I'm rooting for the Broncos because, I fear the passing game of the Bengals, while on the other hand the Broncos are lead by an inexperienced rookie QB. I think the Jets will have a better chance of beating the Broncos than the Bengals.

Root for the broncos. The conference record that Denver has would be impossible for the Jets to match, but if the Bengals lose and the Jets beat Miami, they will have the same conference record going into the final game. I think the Jets would prevail over the Bengals in that case if there was a tie, but not over the Broncos. And if the Jets can't beat Oakland in the last game, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs anyway.
