With great difficulty, please don't even think about trying it yourself. If you get a pro to do it, it's not going to look as if someone had a go at it with a can opener.

You can't. On an acoustic guitar there is bracing under the top- if you damage the bracing the guitar will self destruct within hours.

If you are thinking of doing it to an electric guitar, I can't imagine why since they are often solid bodies and would not benefit from routing soundholes into it. If you think it looks cool, get creative with a black paint marker... Gretsch actually did this in the 60s with one of their solid body instruments.

Most are made with F holes already in them. If you want to do more I suggest that you use a dremel tool with a zip cutter bit. Be careful !
