I bought a new pair of jeans, but the zipper keeps falling down (to my embarrassment!).

Is there anything that I can apply to the zipper to help it "stick" in it's right place, until I actually want it down?

Thanks, I'd rather not show my undies to the world, if I can help it!

SOUNDS LIKE A FAULTY ZIPPER
CAN TAKE BACK TO STORE OR YOU CAN REPLACE ZIPPER

There is actually a lock on a zipper. It is on the back side of the pull and when you press it tightly back into the zipper it will lock between the teeth.

Look and see if it is there. If not take your jeans back for an exchange.

Iv used a safetypin straight across over zipper under the pull thing and hope the little flap hides it. Good Luck!

I usually put a safety pin under the zipper pull, nice and tight, but eventually, grow weary of doing and undoing the stupid pin and just get rid of the offending article of clothing. You COULD get a new zipper, but that is kind of tricky to do.

Use a safety pin to pin it up.

It (the safety pin) is used for clothing and other cloth that has no special provision for attaching such as buttons or a zipper, and for provisional repair in the case of some imperfections of clothing. The safety pin punctures and goes through the surface of the material with its sharp end then joins back up to a shielded end on itself holding the object in place.
