Norad doesn't track anyone...they just make it up as they go along....to make kids think that there really is a Santa...

your imagination probably. it could also be all the trees crying out for their lost brethren.
actually it's really just a joke. they pretend to track santa for all the kiddies in colorado who accidently called them instead of santa in 1955 because of that misprint in a sears store.

And on another subject, they were quoting results of a survey on the radio yesterday that 30% of people believe in Santa........If they only are surveying adults, then isn't it like 30% too high, and don't you find that scary?
