I would try the Hrights, River Oaks, or the barrio neighborhoods south of downtown.

I moved from San Clemente, Ca. to Sugar Land, Tx almost a year ago......best place to live, but bring money..and lots of it. As far as the lights....not many. As a parent of four, used to big family gatherings, tailgate and block parties, etc., I find it rather too conservative and disappointing. I guess that's the downside to feeling somewhat safer.
Moving back to Northern California in a week.

It dont matter, by the time u get through traffic xmas will be over, u might c some nice easter decorations
