Hi,
Click on Tool- Internet options. Then click on delete cookies and clear history. That's it. I would also recommend u to upgrade to IE 7. It is much easier in that and the interface is also very userfriendly.

In addition to that, get this free software called crap cleaner (cclearner) which basically deletes all the junk stuff from ur hard disk saving space and increasing speed. Get it from here: - http://www.ccleaner.com/

Hope that helps.

In your bookmarks ,there should be a list of the addresses on your toolbar, open bookmarks find that list then highlight and delete.
Safari is easier , just put your cursor on the address and drag it off of the tool bar and it goes "Poof" . you could try that , I dont think IE will let you though.
To clear searches and places you've been , you have to "Clear History" then get rid of the cookies ,
Open "My Computer" then right klik on the hard drive, a window with a bunch of folders opens, find "Cookies" open it , and delete all the cookies that are not needed, (you will find a LOT of them) .
Then in IE open at the top left "File" or scroll thru the top menus as each one opens find the one that says Clear History .
You can set up IE so that it does not keep track of where you go and what you do, also limit the cookies that come into your system( Cookies baaaad me no like coookie) the only cookies you need are the ones that deal with your ID and Passwaords for e-mail or sites that you frequent and need ID to get to.

Tools>Internet Options>Clear History. After you clear history, you can also free up some space by next (on Tempory Files, right above Clear History) clicking Delete Files and then next clicking Delete Cookies. The latter might save you from some junk mail. Next to Clear History is a box wherein you can click how long you want something saved in History (put "1" so that site addresses won't be staying on your browser history "forever."
