I do, and even though I consider myself to be a southern girl. My family moved here when I was in high school. Contrary to what people believe ...real people live here. The town everyone sees when they visit or watch on TV is "One Street" called "The Strip". It is not the whole town and not everyone here is a drunk nor is everyone woman loose or a "hoe" to use the ignorant term.

i've got met a lot of people from l. a. over the years as i've got lived in Las Vegas. lots of the l. a. people oftentimes ***** that Las Vegas isn't l. a.. No kidding. you could no longer detect a job here, run out of money, start up playing and then blame it on Vegas. Californians do in basic terms in comparison to something approximately Vegas as quickly as they cool down here and maximum of you wind up shifting appropriate decrease back to l. a.. The grass is often greener... in case you could discover the money for $900 for a mattress your acquaintances can be fairly decent people. something under that and you wind up getting violent wannabe gangsters and pimps on your community. Jobs are particularly no longer uncomplicated to discover. in case you have a job in l. a.--shop it! minimum salary out here is $7.25 and employers anticipate you to bleed for them in the event that they pay $9. yet, it somewhat would not rely as while there's a job beginning off approximately 500 people look for that one pastime. The economy here sucks. it somewhat is as though Las Vegas is having a seventy 5% off sale on all of the factors of interest, lodges, etc just to get travelers in and the citizens are caught choosing up something of the tab. that isn't a reliable time to bypass.

Count me in as a native. It's like living in any other city, same problems, same stores, and same eateries, What sets it apart is the strip, and lots of gambling places. It's exciting to the tourists, but just life to the rest of us.
