i need to get a good mp3 player. but it shouldn't cost over £100, maybe a lot less. its got to be from the UK n shops around birmingham? please give me your suggestions.

o n no ipod nanos plz. they probs dnt work well. ive heard em before n most of em go bust in 2 weeks. somat that lasts quite a bit long

try argos they have some Philip's 512MB Silver MP3 on sale for £29.99=== but check in store catalogue before you buy.

megabite is smallest, gigabite is next then, kilobite. The the higher the megabites the more tracks you can upload on to the mp3 player. Of course the length of the track makes a difference, which means the space will vary depending upon the size of the tracks. WMA Windows Media Audio is a proprietary compressed audio file format developed by Microsoft, it was initially intended to be a competitor to the popular MP3 format. This also affects the space that is used up on your mp3, it usually takes up less space than Mp3's.

128mb holds approximately 32 tracks
256mb holds approximately 64 tracks
512mb holds approximately 128 tracks
1GB holds approximately 256

I would go with a 2 gb zen or ipod , dixons have them for uder 100, but I am sure ya would get a good deal after the holidays.
