coming from a cubs fan...NO. Pujols is a much beter player and younger. D-Lee gets the advantage in the field but Pujols gets it at the plate. Also D-Lee may be injury prone while Pujols never ges major injuries.

Go Cubs!

I hate to say it but Albert Pujols is better as a hitter, but as a fielder Derrek puts him away..
if I had to choose first for a fantasy team, I would choose Albert, which is saying a lot, especially the fact that I went to school with Derrek for 10 years and had the pleasure of seeing him play regularly and was friends with him before he moved away...

But no, I would still take Albert any day of the week.... sorry Derrek

Albert Pujols El Hombre. Derrek Lee is good, but he's no Albert Pujols. From what I understand Derrek Lee is also hurt quite often.

I like Albert Pujols better than Lee because he is more durable. They are both good players but Lee just had his breakout season last season with Chicago when Pujols has been good for at least 3 or 4 seasons. Pujols is one of the best defense players in the game even though he is pretty chubby. Lee is a good slugger and defense players in the game (1st baseman) but I have to give the arrow to Pujols because of durability.

Albert Pujols, Lee is the better fielder, Albert is a good fielder also. But Albert hits .330 every year, is always getting homers plus he can just crush the ball even on an out he crushes it. I would hate having to catch a Pujols liner.

Pujols, by far. But that's just based on the fact that I have not once in my life seen Derrek Lee play.

Pujols by far. We didn't get to see as much of Derek Lee this season as usual but the time he was playing he didn't impress me as much as Albert. Also in past years Pujols has been a phenomenal hitter and is probobly the best hitter in the league.

Albert Pujols. Did you happen to read a while back how Albert was given a series of tests that had been administered to Babe Ruth at the same age? They scored the same and used similar methods for solving test problems. For instance, while most people use a left to right, top to bottom approach to solving one test given, both Ruth and Pujols were found to scan the entire page in circles. They attribute this scanning method to both their aqute senses of hand-eye coordination and the ability to see the entire field of play while at bat.

No contest Albert Pujols is arguably the finest hitter in the game today!
