I hope your referring to the inside tank parts and not the seal on the floor that the toilet sits on.. Re-adjust the line or chain that attaches to the rubber seal , Make sure you have it on correctly .. if its to short of course it will not reach the stop ,also make sure you have the correct one ( size ), if not it will leak.. It's nice to try and repair things on your own,, But sometimes you get into these situations and make things worse.. Try what I have suggested, if it doesn't work , go back to your Home Depot or Lowe's Store with the package the parts came in.. They are supposed to have an experienced plumber, working in the plumbing parts department ..Ask then questions , if they don't appear to know what their talking about try another store.. If Not You Will ( unfortunately ) have to do what you were trying to avoid in the first place OUCH ! " Call The Plumber "
Best of luck to you
Merry Christmas

Did you replace the rubber seat where the flapper valve rests? You have to remove the tank to do this? Did you tighten the tank hold down bolts and replace those washers?

Home Depot sells a tank-to-bowl gasket/washer kit. Maybe just "tighten the bolts" around the rubber. Is your rubber properly fitted for that type of tank?

If, as you say you replaced everything, including the tank to bowl gasket, that seals that connection, I recommend that you remove the tank again, and check the gasket. If it looks ok, apply a layer of pipe joint compound to the gasket. This will help to make a good seal. Good luck, and Merry Christmas

You might have damaged something when you fixed it, Mabye you could get some stuff that will close off the leak.

There is a special tape that Plumbers use on the threads that, I believe, deter leaks.
Did you use that?
