Some people can't bear the thought of disappointing their children and will do anything to prevent it. I watched people duke it out at McDonald's when the big beanie baby craze hit. It makes you think...if people are willing to hurt others over a 2 dollar McDonald's beanie baby....what would they do for something bigger?

Wish I knew why. Last year here in Chicago, some people beat the beboogies out of each other because Wal-mart closed early and they couldn't go shopping on Christmas Eve. Got arrested and ended up on the news. Nothing like spending Christmas Eve in Cook County jail, I guess. Makes me want to say to them " three words- Christmas organizer book?"

People act like complete savages during their holiday shopping. Maybe they want to compete for the best present? It's ridiculous. I try to get all my shopping done early to avoid that.

Because they are obsessed and put to much into the whole gift thing. They don't realize that Christmas isn't just about gifts.

Because of the stress about thinking they "have" to get that 1 perfect gift and they lose sight that it's not about what you give, it's the thought that counts.
