Personally, I have more respect for a man who is brave enough to cry instead of worrying that somebody's going to call him a wimp. Hypermacho is a big turnoff. I'm interested in seeing the POV of both men and women.

I think it really is about being genuine. I have seen people that try way to hard to look or act tough but they are not. The essence of being a man is not in the style of clothes, tattoo, or even demeanor but in their actions. I have many experiences that would place me as extremely tough and yet I have no insecurity about crying. But I have also seen the opposite, the person that tries to act all emotional and caring and uses it as the easy way out. Either way it grinds me if they are putting on a show. A true man keeps it real, it is not about show.

well i don't like crying myself so i don't really think i could handle a guy who did. but that doesn't mean i want them to be insensitive, i just don't see the point in crying and talking about it a lot like most women tend to do.

it depends...if i have done something to make a guy cry then i feel terrible...if it is because of a death or something i find it extremely sexy when a man shows his emotions.
