Good to listen about your intentions. but dear there is no such room there in yahoo or elsewhere since problem is not of the chat room it is about the individual who is chatting. Am I right?
So best way to chat only with known people is to use yahoo messenger and to sign in in invisible mode so that you can ensure chatting with only known people.

get msn its nt a chat room bt you can add only the friends you want to talk to and if you dnt want to talk to them 4 some reason than u simply block them.

are you super young? becuase your choices are already wrong. Never include your name in a posting that the publics gonna see! but, theres "clubpenguin.com" where u can chat anynonomously but u cant use bad words. it will filter them out.
