Given the state of movie special effects at the time, I'd have to say the original Star Wars trilogy, if only because it was conceived and written directly for the screen (LotR was a series of books, in case you're seriously in need of brains).

If The Godfather III had been up to the level achieved by the first two, it would be a serious contender.

Indiana Jones, though a LOT of fun, has no where near the resonance of the others, and Back to the Future, also enjoyable, was hardly a cinematic watershed event!

Evil lifeless - all tremendous videos. Godfather - the 1st 2 have been remarkable, the third replaced into no longer as good by using fact the others yet nevertheless reliable - pretty underrated. unique celebrity Wars videos - the prequels in basic terms undeniable sucked 'cept for Revenge of The Sith.
