There is extremism in every religion. The Amish are, by definition, extremists in Christianity. I personally think we could learn a lot from the Amish. I'm assuming you mean why are there so many more violent extremists in the Muslim religion? I believe it comes from the teaching in the Quran. Islam is called the religion of peace, and it is - to other of the Islamic faith, to the infidels, (that's everyone else), it calls for their destruction.

Just throwing this out there...
Have you ever considered that Catholic nuns are conservatively robed just like.... the typical fully practicing devout Muslim woman?
Where am I going? Sectarian and Secular. Separation of Church and State. Catholicism and nuns might influence general society, but they don't directly govern or have any say in government. But that doesn't seem to be the case in places where Islam has taken a foothold on the populace, ie. Iranian theocracy with the Ayatollah, Sadr's army in Iraq, the Islamic council in Somalia.
It seems that Islam has a tendency to aggressively involve itself in every aspect of society, from rites of worship to governmental procedures. I'm not sure if that's the answer, but it might shed light on why we seem to see more extremists who happen to be Muslim than otherwise: they come from countries where it's Islam 24/7.

most muslims are brought up beliving that america and christanity are horrible and should be stopped in the middle east.
I mean look at north korea,the time their born to when their adults are surronded by anti-america and the likes.
Its basically most of the followers just dont know better,kind of retatred isnt it,but yet a smart plan.

Probably because they are underdeveloped as a part of the world and mentally . You only have to look at how they blow themselves up , get their women to cover up , and stone people. Thats partly why they like coming to the UK because we have everything they are too stupid to have.
