To the end of war in iraq everybody in Iraq will be our enemy. That is terrorist. That is exactly whats happening there now. In my opinion

Terrorists don't hide in Iran there they are heroes. In fact there is an entire branch of the Iranian Army that are suicide troops who have all vowed to give their life for their country.

Terrorists hide among the population; this is true in any nation that has a terrorism problem or supports terrorism. That's what makes fighting them so hard. First you need to determine who are the civilians and who are the terrorists. Then you need to find a way to only target the terrorists. However, if you do that, if you only kill terrorists then a percentage of the civilians will become enraged by their deaths and turn into terrorists.

The only way to "win" the war on terrorism is to cut out their support from the population. If you can figure out how to do that then you could win the Nobel Prize.

To get specific in Iraq terrorism is what all the "good boys" are doing. They come from the villages, across the border from Syria and Iraq. They also operate heavily in Lebanon and Afghanistan. In Lebanon Hezbollah (the party of God) all, but controls Southern Lebanon, and they do so even after two wars with Israel. The Lebanese Government is too weak to deal with the terrorists. Syria makes sure of that with a campaign of political assassinations. Iran founded Hezbollah in 1982 and one of their first acts was to drive a truck bomb into the US Marine Compound, who were there leading a UN Peacekeeping Mission.

There are Islamic terrorists in Sudan trying to commit genocide against all the African people in their country. There are drug cartels as dangerous and using the same tactics as terrorists in South America. There are even terrorists in India and other parts of Southeast Asia. Which is ironic since the Boston Tea Party, before the American Revolution, were terrorists. The problem isn't unique to the Middle East, but they were the ones that decided to use suicide bombers, and attack the population, not military targets.

Hiding????? The Iranian government support terrorists therefore they are terrorist themselves. In Iraq the Iranian backed Al-Sadr militia is in hiding and will be neutralized by the 300,000 man Iraqi army once it's core is stable enough to not crumble and fall into disarray.
Tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi men, woman, and children will be slaughtered in the process. A process we could accomplish but we don't want to be the new butchers of Baghdad.
We will let the new government take out the trash and be held responsible and receive credit where credit is due.
May God help the innocent when the onslaught on the Al-Sadr militia begins.

That is correct and explains why things are what they are in Iraq. First of all, most of the Iraqis believe it is not business of US to invade their country. And then there are prison abuses, rapes and such atrocities. Those who are trying to kick out US from Iraq are being called insurgents and being hunted like animals. Definitely even innocent Iraqis who are witnessing these things will become insurgents or terrorists. Isn't Mel Gibson's Patriot having a similar theme ?
