Its not everyone who feels the need to destroy people .It makes me really sad too If people put as much effort into understanding and helping each other as they do in hating the world would be a better place for us all .Like you i`m without a lot of hope things just seem to get worse every year but i can`t understand why it has to be this way .

Blame the missionaries and colonizers. They went out there and decided that loincloths and worshipping the sun and moon was barbaric. They weren't interested in learning from the indigenous cultures they encountered. (on the whole).
The world used to be a big place. It is no more. But you can't expect thousands of years of cultural values to change because white man rules the world now. Why SHOULD people of different cultures think the same?? The best of life to me is being able to appreciate other cultures and learn from them. The real sadness is in finding people that don't appreciate different cultures. It is part of what makes what makes us human.

People of the same culture think differently hence the poverty traps all over the world. It is sad I agree and it sickens me to know that food and clothes and homes are going to waste when others can benefit from them.

Politics (not culture or religion) is the enemy. It's the greed of people in power, their lust for land and domination, at the cost of ordinary citizens. Nothing to do with colour, race religion age gender (all men (and women) are equal). What can we do about it... globally...now that's the question.

Because we all believe that we are somehow superior to other cultures when ironically, they think the same way. My belief is live and let live, end of story. Who am I to decide that someone or better or worse than I, simply because of who they are and what they do or dont believe?
