Why can't people understand that extreme beauty can be a torment?

Question

I have suffered from this affliction since I was a baby.
Other babies would saliva at the mere sight of me whilst my mother would halt my pram in order to gossip with other adults.
I was a most handsome young child.
I was a male baby, but my gender mattered not ,as I was drooled upon by both sexes.
I can rememberother children coming out in hot flushes at the mere sight of me.
I have suffered this burden all through my life,having had thousands of girlfriends and one or two male friends who took advantage of my drug induced condition,but who could blame them?
This is the worst time of year for me: I try to avoid parties as women often resort to fist-fights just to get close to me .
I find this behaviour repulsive as I am now nearing sixty years of age
I was considered disfiguring my face with a sharp instrument only to be told by an admirer, that it would only serve to enhance my looks.G iving my face a more rugged appearance.
Listen, you ugly guys: count yourselves lucky.

I understand your feelings because it is the same for me. I was called the "Belle" and girls were furiously jealous of me when their boy-friends came around me. I could never choose to talk to the boys I liked because the other boys would fight to get me .
There always was lots of intrigues and nastiness and lies about me and I got the reputation of being a "bad girl" (which was not true) and this even when I was much older and married. I am French and Catholic.
Now, people which are not beautiful cannot understand because they are not subject to these things. So don't expect good answers from them you won't get any. Just smile.

The grass is always greener on the other side. You could still try the sharp object thing, just don't do it too little that you're rugged or too much that you end up dead. You could also try getting a really bad hair cut, paint your face, get a fat suite, all that stuff. You just have to try.

Well, everyone has beauty, whether it is outer, or inner, just be glad for what you have. Don't get stuck on yourself, though, because beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. :)
