Your mother, or grandmother, of 70 years has had a good life, but she has just been struck by lightening and will be bed ridden for the rest of her life. She may have 20 more years to endure constant chronic pain, 24hrs, 7 days, 365 days a year. She wants to die. Should she be euthanased?

Question 2. Your sister is in very early pregnancy, the foetus is lodged in the fallopian tubes and will die. Your sister will definately die if the foetus is not aborted. Should the abortion go ahead?

for the first one yes she should first see all of her family or have a great day then she should be killed painlessly. rather then die after years of pain,

for the second yes of course the baby would die anyways so why die with it u can always have another!!!! have an abortion and live!!!!!

First question: I'll ask doctors to give her Morphine, since it kills pain VERY effectively. Because I don't want her to do something that might break the hearts of many of those who love her (Including myself).
Second: It will be stupid if she didn't abort the baby early, since it's certain that he'll die immediately after delivery.

1. the 80 yr. old should not be euthanized. if she is coherent enough to wish to die then she can decide what to do.i don't know of any mom/grandmom who would ask that of their child.
2. yes. the fetus should be removed. if not, both will perish and even god does not want that.

1. If she wants to die, I would provide her with the tools to make that happen. Her call.

2. The kid doesn't stand a chance and the mother does. No contest. Abort.

Man, can we get back to the Is Santa Real questions? I feel dirty.

question one is somewhat ambigous; question two has only one right answer, and anyone who would block that abortion should be tried for attempted murder of the sister (looking at you, Florida)
