Without knowing what brand of hardware you are installing, I probably would only confuse you more. There are almost as many installation procedures as there are different brands. They range from quite simple to difficult. I would guess you may want to elaborate.

Start on the inside. The knob should come off by pushing a tab on the knob. Next remove the plate by prying the lower left side of it. You will see the two screws and it is pretty self explanatory from there.

well there are only two screws holding them together. so make sure the old one is off and that the key hole is on the outside and slide them together with the retainer already in place. it is hard to tell you how without showing you but there are three pieces and they can only fit together one way take a little time and play with them you will figure it out

What's so confusing? the two screws come out, the knob goes in and the screws go back on and tighten them.
