Sitting here listening to Queen's "I want it all" I got to thinking about that. We all just assume we can't have it all, because we are told we can't. So I wondered if there could be a world where there were lots of drive in theaters, hamburger joints, fast cars and cheap gas. Thomas wolfe said we can never go home again. What if he is wrong? Construct a world where all the things you love exist and you are truely happy. Fantasy you say, maybe, just maybe Autism. Sci Fi calls it parallel universes, religion calls it heaven. Really think about the old saying, a dogs life. Watch dogs for a while and then tell me they don't live better than us.

Having a son with a form of autism I to have thought of this. My son is so happy with the littlest things.
A little car if boughten him brings him more joy then a big expensive train set with the beeps and whistles. We know we had bought him one. But he was more thrilled with the little hot wheel car.
My sister sent the kids money, not a lot but to this child this is like a million bucks. This child is 11 and I am talking he is like this now. He very rarely gets mad at people, though they can hurt his feelings very easily!
He has been jumped and beat up by several kids here in our town, I tell him stay away from those kids. But mom he says they are my friends...The kids in this town also destroyed him Hummer truck he got for Christmas last year. He loves Hummers. They totally destroyed it!! I told him it may not be best to take it to the park for the other kids will destroy it, but mom there my friends. He holds no animosity toward anyone. He doesn't matter what color a person is or if they have money or not, if there house is picked up or not, he just wants to be excepted and have friends.

So yes I think people with forms of autism have it right! I have learned so much from my son!!

You have a point but life is what it is. you should just be satisfied with what you have and live your life to the fullest. The grass may seem greener on the other side but you don't know what you have until it is gone.
