And that is why I don't choose a Party to align with. In Bush's rush to accumulate power, there are people on both sides of the aisle only too happy to help him along as long as they get their slice of pie. In the last Presidential election, few people noticed that Bush & Kerry both belonged to the same or similar political organizations, such as The Skulls & Bones Society. I don't believe things would be greatly different if Kerry had won. The Iraq war is one of them, since it seems to only benefit the filthy rich.
My belief is we need to get away from Party loyalties because it is just a distraction from more pressing issues. All recent Presidents have whittled away at our Constitutional rights, though none as deeply as Bush has. Clinton was just more cautious & subtle so fewer of us are aware of his abuses of power.
We have.an issue from which to start the house cleaning process that is gaining widespread support among the public. It is generally agreed that the 9/11 Commission Report was a fraud. Of the 11 Commissioners who sat on that panel, 8 have called for it to be reopened. Please click the link below to see what they & others have to say about it. Then it's up to you where you go from here.

This is a false GOP talking point addressed to moderates: The Democrats haven't done anything yet, therefore, they're just as corrupt or ineffective as Republicans (so you might as well vote GOP next time or else, just don't bother to vote).
Democrats haven't even started their session of Congress, how could they have even begun their investigations?
There's a difference between expanding the size of the armed forces, a 4 to 5 year project, and keeping more troops in Iraq. These are two separate issues. Democrats want a larger military, with a withdrawal of the troops in Iraq as soon as possible. Is the distinction clear now.

I wouldn't be to quick to jump off of the Democratic bandwagon, the session hasn't even started and there are those in the Democratic party that would like Bush's head. I think we need to take a wait and see attitude, we have plenty of time before the next vote. If they do nothing about this criminal and corrupt president, then I will agree with you and will start looking at a viable third party. After 6 years of Bush even Nader looks good.

There is no difference between political parties. Democracy at present is a lie created by the rich and powerful to keep the masses down by believing they have a hand in government. In reality you have no more say in who rules you now than you did in the 15th century. No country except possibly switzerland has been democratic since ancient greece. Political apathy is caused by cynicism created by the fact that all political parties stand for the same thing.

I'm beginning to fill the same way. Each party has people that are corrupt and have ulterior motives.
I am for investigating the lies that led us to war. The blame game is always fun!
As far as funding the expansion of the military, that is down right ridiculous!

They've known all along that Bush is on the right track. They just needed to use lies themselves to regain power. Politics at there worst. Congrats on your win.
If we would avoid voting far left and or far right we would not be in this position. Moderate politicians are the key to unity and United We Stand but Divided We Fall.
Happy Holidays
