It's awful when things are overemphasized, especially when things that don't need to be. For example, a girl in my class was running. She acts like she's the best and she's much more popular than some. So she was running and then she fell. She made it so dramatic, it was crazy!

Oh my gosh, yes!!!
I am a teacher and some of the parents I deal with drive me nuts. One parent went on and on about their child's spelling booklet. She thought I had lost it...it was in my classroom!!!
It took a lot of patience to suck it up and remain pleasant. I just kept thinking, what's the big deal? This parent needed to over- dose on some chill pills.

yes, ohmigawd, all the competition for attention, nothing that is really special can have a metaphor applied to it that someone hasn't used for the weather forecast. hope your trip to Fla. turns out to be SUPER! theres one now.
