Chainsaw works fine for me. Have to be real careful, though, one slip and it makes Lorena Bobbitt look like a rank amateur..

You may not be aware that hair is an important part of having healthy skin in the pubic area. Shaving is actually UNsanitary. Here's what happens: when you have hair, it holds your clothing just a little bit away from your skin, so air circulaties and sweat evaporates naturally, Shave or wax and the sweat just sits there on your skin. Very soon you start to STINK, even if you've had a shower a couple of hours earlier. You can also get bacterial or fungal infections, some of which are very hard to clear up. Unless you like sweaty crotch smell (and your friends do too) I'd strongly advise keeping your manly hair. Keep it clean, but keep it!

No but I know several men who do. First cut the hair short as possible with scissors and then put shaving cream on - this is best done in or right after a warm shower or place a warm wash cloth over the are to be shaved, then shave carefully with down strokes.
It is not recommended that you shave upwards against the grain as this could cause ingrown hairs. After shaving, it's a good idea to "slap on" some hydrogen peroxide or Noxzema. You are going to have to shave regularly when it starts to grow out or it will become itchy

Yes i shave all of my pubic hair ! And have been doing so for 10 years.
The first time you need to trim with scissors and then use a razor. I use women's triple blade and get a super smooth Finnish.
Sure it will itch a bit at first but you get used to it. I have also been to a parlor and had it professionally done. ( quite exciting !)
I shave just beyond the underpants lines.. eg Half an inch above the top of the elastic waist bit. and Half an inch down the legs. And stop about half way between the anus and scrotum.
Good luck !!

Yes, and in my opinion the best time to do it is in the shower. When I'm in the shower, I wash myself so the water can like moisten my pubic region. Then, I use cream/lotion to lather up the area and shave. I start shaving down, then up, and then down again.
