I love Christmas music...to me it's some of the most beautiful music ever written. I also like to think about how the birth of Jesus must've taken place thousands of years ago. That had to be a magical time in history.

being with my husband of 18 years and with my sweet little angles. my son is 17, a daughter 2 1/2 and my 4 month old. being with the rest of my family and friends. it not gifts that make it special it is being with the family reading the kids the christmas story. having hot choc. and spice cider. getting the kids all tucked in and then all the adults talking.

Every year I like to get together with friends, have cocktails, food and play poker (very low stakes). We play music (live music, with instruments). We enjoy each other, I think because we all like to do the same things. Gift giving and receiving is fun, but you can never convince me than it is better than just being with friends. I really love my friends, they make me feel loved too. I'm starting to feel pretty gay right now....I need to stop writing about this. I got something in my eye....I gotta go!

i voluteer at the shelter and pass out gifts and food. just the smile on peoples faces really brighten up the day. i would say my son, but he makes everyday magical.
