I am asking not for myself, I am happily Wiccan. I am just wondering what is behind anothers thinking for giving up something that is such a big part of who you are for someone else.

No! God has NEVER failed me! Women have, many times. I would not deny my faith for a woman! If she was the right one for me , she would never ask me to either.

To give one's faith away only if both parties are in agreement with it. But there's nothing wrong with having faith and it doesn't matter what religion you are. As long both of the parties are in love who cares about the rest

No. My beliefs are very important to me even though she might think other-wise. If your talking about attending something like mass together and belong to different religions, then it might be a problem you two should sort out.

I believe what I believe and nobody can change that. I know I would never ask someone to change what they believe in to be with me, and I would expect the same in return.

HECK no...I am a-religious myself, but I would expect that anyone who loved me will take me for who I am. And my husband does.
