Hmmm. Perhaps you are searching for something MORE? Something that makes your life feel meaningful, with purpose? If so, start some reading of spiritual books, anything will do, from your background or maybe branch out. The Dalai Lama or Pema Chodron are good starting places. Look for ways to make a difference in other peoples lives, like improving a situation without anyone necessarily knowing about it. These actions can have one feel that they have a reason to BE.

What is missing is the awareness of what you truly desire in life. Most of us are so conditioned to DO what we're "supposed" to do and be what we're "supposed" to be we don't realize we are not living our life's purpose.

We all have something inside that knows what will truly make us happy. People use many labels for that "something": Heart, Love, God, Spirit, Energy. Whatever you choose to call this, if you will listen carefully you can discover what you inherently feel is missing.

Then pursue that regardless of what others think or say. Any thought you have that includes the word "should" is an indication that thought is NOT your own - it is something imposed upon you by family, society, friends or the media.

Abundance is our natural state and whatever you are called to do you CAN do. Find others who believe in you and go for it. Contact me if you wish and I will assist in any way you ask.

You have to make your life what you want it to be, I had the same feelings as you, and I enrolled myself back into school, just to change my life and make it a little better, it did and have helped me a bit. Try something new you have always wanted to do, but just seem to couldn't find the time to do. Stop doing something that you haven't tried before, like smoking or drinking. I wish you luck and all the happyness no matter what you get out of your life.

If you don't know Christ that could definitely be what's missing and if you do maybe you haven't found your purpose yet. Never stop searching.

Where is your surf board? It looks like you should have one in your picture. Could that be what is missing?
