Why would you want to? Manuals are so much better! You'll regret it!

why???

if you change the trans the car will not have the same resale value as it would if you did not change it the next Q: is is it possible to change it the moter and the mounts may need to be changed as well and then you are talking about 1000,00 or 2000,00 just for the fun and that is not to say that it will work....
if you would like an automatic trans in your car then buy one with it in from the factory and save the problems.....

With everything said and done, you'll be spending close to 8 grand. And trust me, you'd fair better buying a similar car from a junker and trading parts where you could. That'll save you thousands, which you could then pour into a better clutch/flywheel combo.

trans about 1000, reliable used or rebuilt.
new harness 200-400 used
pcm 200 used
bend & fit hydraulic cooler line 30-50
build or get used driveshaft 150ish
steering column shift or floor shift 150-350
labor about 12 hours @ 60-75/hr.

Who's doing the labour? It would be at least $500 for the transmission, and then if you have someone else do it for you, it'll be something close to $1,500 to $2,000

probably more than the car is worth.....You would have to change wiring/and electronic engine controls over also, plus the pedal assm in the car......I would guess 3000 to 5000 unless you could find a wrecked donor car with a good trans....

Its not worth your time or the money you'll be putting into it, if you really want an auto sell the truck you have and buy another one.

You are better off selling it and buying a similar one with a auto. You will not get a dollar back off what you invested in it if/when you sell it.
