whatz your opinon on how old you should be b4 u put makeup on.?

im 13 and i wanna wear makeup but i dont wanna b moving 2 fast making people think im a _________
any opinons :)

Personally I dont think anyone should wear it, and most guys agree with me, It is quite repulsive and gets you talked about behind your back (by guys atleast).
Think, what would be the purpose in putting it on? I mean if you want to attract guys, that is most certainly not the way you will get them, when you put to much make up on it actually makes guys *not* want to talk to you. Natural is the way to go, makeup does nothing to make you look better (sure you think you may, after all you wasted a ton of money on the goop), and besides, noone really wants to kiss a face with squashed fetal pigs on it (thats what most makeup is made of)
Go natural, people will respect you more, you will save time getting ready, and will feel better about youself

That's a great view point. I know that at 13 I was begging my mom to let me wear makeup but now I'm really glad she didn't. I didn't start wearing any makeup, except for maybe some lip gloss, until I was almost 15, and now makeup isn't really a big deal. If I were you I would wait a couple more years because your taste in makeup will probably change a lot between now and then. So waiting will prevent any , 'OMG I can't believe i wore that!' moments...and besides most guys don't really like makeup, they have more respect for you if your confident without wearing too much makeup or any at all... (you may have already thought about this because even asking this question shows a mature attitude, but I would avoid taking these girls who are 13, 14 years old too seriously...you want advice from people who have been through already)

I'm 14 and I started to wear makeup when I was 13. Al i started with was mascara and lip gloss. At 14, all I now wear is mascara, lip gloss, and eyeshadow. Sometimes I wear concealer if I have a breakout or something.

i think 13 is a good age. I didn't start until i was almost 16 i went through a phase for about 2 years that i didn't want to wear makeup because i didn't need to but now i can't stand to be without it.

I think 13 is perfectly fine. I started at 8 so. Haha. But start out with a fresh look first, some concealer, mascara and lip gloss. No heavy metallic blue eye shadow, hon.

my mother made wait until I was 16 but I believe 13 may be a good age but you have to keep it in moderation like start small...maybe tinted lip gloss and a shimmery [soft colors, nothing strong like blue or purple} eye shadow but don't put too much on...and as the months and years go by add more of what you like and for your 16th birthday treat yourself a total makeover and learn about make up from a professional but don't wear the makeover look you get everyday...hope this helps

I started wearing makeup in 7th grade. Gloss and a neutral eye shadow. The more natural you keep it the less problems you will have with acne. never go to sleep with your makeup on, stay away from harsh cleansers and toners and ALWAYS moisturize no matter what your age.

13 is fine, just keep it natural and glowing! Use clear mascara, or a normal mascara with out eyeliner, cover up and lip gloss. I'd say around 14 - 15, you can get away with experimenting more. x

i think 13 is fine, I'm nearly 14 and I've been wearing make-up since like year 6. Don't wear too much, you don't want it to look unnatural. i wear clear lip-gloss and light eyeshadow almost everyday and eye-liner sometimes, make sure your make up isn't too dark. And don't wear too much make-up because we are still young and already have the "young and beautiful" look.

I'm 13 and I wear really natural but pretty makeup.I wear mascera and mineral powder and it makes my eyes pop and make my beauty look all nutural.I'm kinda pretty without any makeup,but makeup makes everyone look a little bit better.
