It's a tough question. Your comparing an original Xbox game with a 360 game. One is a first person shooter and the other is a 3rd person shooter. They are both fantastic, but you can't compare the one to the other. Wait until Halo 3 comes out, then we'll talk.... :-)

Gears of War won 4 awards from the Video Game awards for best graphics, multiplayer, gameplay and Best Game Overall, so I think that Gears of War is much better

Halo 2 is still more played the GoW, so I'll lean towards Halo 2.
