It's always an option because we always have a choice. For me, failure does indeed teach a lesson....eventually :)

Failure is always an option. Especially when someone chooses to quit something or make a wrong decision. Failure definitely is a life lesson. I was talking to a friend who got pregnant early. Someone asked if people should get involved and try to tell young girls to stop sleeping around. And the girl said that sometimes people have to fail in order to see the light. It's important to know that everyone makes mistakes and no one should want to fail. I don't feel good when I fail at something.

In the real world, failure happens way too often. It's not nice to accept, but then again you can't win all of the time, and you can't always get what you want. Usually when you hear a coach tell you "failure is not an option,." it's usually before the game when you still have a chance to win. It's amazing how the song chances when you fail.

Sometimes failure is unavoidable. You can work your *** of at something and never be "good enough."

This doesn't mean quit trying. It means work harder and prove tht while you might not have everything it takes, you can do more with what you do have than others who won't try at all.

In the process of trying to achieve one goal, you may find what you really want is something you'll pick up along the way.

you may experience risky situations and if you failed, you can make a lesson of this experience not the failure itself.
so the answer is No
in fact,Failure itself has not a good effect. It mostly discourage you and inhibit you from further experiences(which can teach you)
