anyone colored blind?

if u are colored blind like......... lets say u can see every color but red. if someone was wearing a red shirt what would u see it as. would the shirt turn like gray or another color? i do not get it. plz help! thanks

There are 2 common kinds of colorblindness.

Red-Green

Blue-Purple

You can't differenciate between these colors and they look like grayish. Sometimes green will look pinkish, or there's no difference between blue and purple.

I am pretty severely color blind but like the other people already stated, I can see most of the colors. I just see them slightlydifferently than you probably do. I do have trouble with colors that are similar. I only buy black dress socks because I cant tell the difference between navy blue and black. I once decorated for Halloween and used pink sheets for the ghosts because I dont see faint shades of pink well. In high school my sister had to help meclothes shop because I dont really have any idea what colors look good or bad together. Now my wife helps. I have had some trouble with stop lights when driving in major fog. They all sort of look the same then, but not all the time. I have no clue what the color violet is. I see either pink or purple. Mostly I go through life never thinking about it and unless I tell people they dont know. Anyway I hope this helps. Marry Christmas!

I'm red-green color blind, but I can see both colors. It's those silly dot charts (to test me for color-blindness) that I can't see. I'm not sure why I can't see those charts, because I really can easily tell red from green. i think the test is too specific.
