In a world such as you describe, the sense of vision would probably not have evolved.
We would probably have very powerful senses of hearing, touch, taste, and especially smell, so perception would be pretty normal, given your posited world.
We might have a perceptive sense we humans do not have, for that matter.

If everything was transparent it would get cold very quickly as the earth would not be absorbing the heat of the sun so we would all die.
If everyting became transparent then our eyes would eb likley to evolve to see light of different wavelengths unless this was similarly effected. Bats see by radar, some sea creatures see by sonar.
Some radiation /sub atomic particles does already pass through objects and detectors for such radiation cannot see the things they pass through.
Given that matter is over 99% nothing with protons neutrons and electrons occupying only a fraction of the space of an atem or molecule perhaps the surprising thing is that we can see anything at all when over 99% of what we are looking at is nothing.
Happy Christmas

If all the "things" in the world were transparent that would mean we could still see people so no we wouldn't be "blind"

The most happy marriage I can imagine to myself would be the union of a deaf man to a blind woman.”
“An eye for an eye would make the whole world blind.”
“But the eyes are blind. One must look with the heart...”
"I see, said the blind man."

maybe its not about looking through things to find answers maybe its about focusing on them to see that all things are impermanent standing back as if god like to see all that is played out like a game leads to meny questions what is it that you need to see more clearly would you look at your self more or others what would it mean to you if you had those answers what would you do when you stop searching would it fill you or leave you empty.

Nah, we would still have the ABILITY to see, but what is there to see would not stand out. Should another matter occur which is not transparent, that would stand out and we would likely see only that! Perfectly clear? ;)

When you saw through everything, what would you be looking at?
Would light still be visible? Is that blindness?

If is a big word. If these were so and we could not see God would have had no witness to the existence of his son whom he sent. So you see in his wisdom he made it so we could see and witness what he created.
(Gen 1:1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
(Jhn 1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(Jhn 1:2) The same was in the beginning with God.
(Jhn 1:14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Note: Dwelt umong Us ( Jesus, The Christ )

No, not in the normal sense of the word. We would have a
different type of vision called a sense of perception.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a nice day.
Thank you very much, while you're up!!
