I've heard about the old tradition of wrapping oneself shortly after giving birth in order to get ones figure back as quickly as possible. Has anyone tried it? If so, what fabric works best?

The traditional piece of fabric used for this is called a Rebozo. Try googling "rebozo" or look around this site:

I've never tried it, but I plan to next time.

I've heard of this too and also heard that it works.

I don't know the details but would be interested in finding out.

sorry never heard of that before. just watch what food you eat. usually after you have the baby you go back to your normal size, thats if you don't sit all the time. keep busy. after i had my son, i was back to the clothes i worn before i was pregnant.

I don't know anything about this, but I personally would not try it. Just leave it to nature. Breastfeeding helps to lose weight faster. And excercising always helps.
