My husband hasn't had a hair cut in close to a year and its getting too long. I think he's going for the "shaggy" hair look. This hair cut might look cute on high school kids and even college stuents but my husband is 32!
We are going to visit my family tomorrow for Christmas. What can I do to get my husband to get a haircut? He looks so handsome with short hair- it shows off his pretty blue eyes.
Do you think "shaggy hair" looks ok on a 32 year old grown man?? HELP!!

yeah you guys are right...other than the hair he really is a great husband and a great all around guy....the hair is just driving me crazy..ugh!! lol

maybe ask him if he doesn't want to get it cut if he wouldn't mind getting it trimmed up so it looks nice for the holidays...maybe be romantic and remind him of how sexy he looks with it cut shorter and how is eyes just are amazingly blue and how much it gets you in the mood...work it girl to your advantage too

It depends on the man--I have seen long hair on older men (as in--not teenagers)--and it can look very attractive. That said, I understand that you want your husband to look his best in front of your family..You could suggest it to him...but if he is not for it--if he really loves his long hair--Well--you could ask him to groom it better--tie it back or brush it out--whatever it takes--to tame it a bit (if he wears it scruffy, etc...)---you could compromise in that way--He could still have it long but could wear it in a tidier way...or he could slick it back--with gel or something...that often looks very sophisticated...
tell him how you feel--and see if he will compromise--other than that--If he's a good guy--Oh well--hair is just hair!!

Tell him if someone makes a comment about his womanly looks don't get offended, from the back, he does look like a woman with that long hair.

The next time he wants to snuggle or rumble in the sheets tell him you just can't get the image of a clean cut guy out of your head. Tell him a haircut my help you clear your mind....lol

Well tell him he's not 20 anymore and also tell him when he goes to sleep half of his hair will be gone because you will cut it when he fals asleep. If that doesn't work let him make himself look like an idiot.

Get some gum stuck in his hair real good, so that he has to cut it off. Or tell him "No more sex till you shave that afro off your head." Or you could shave it yourself, while he is sleeping. Or, try to get him to accidentally light his hair on fire. I did this once (not on accident) and had to cut my hair. Any of these will work.
