who has just died, in Casualty, and how? I havnt watched it for ages, switched it on and someone has died...all the staff were crying...who was it, and how did they die...thanks!!!

First Josh got stabbed and he had a heart attack and surgery in the Emergency department but they brought him back but only just.
Then Ellen was chasing this nutty woman who had munchasen-by-proxy which is an illness where she was trying to make her daughter ill in order to gain attention from the Docs
Ellen ran after this nutty woman and was knocked down by a motorbike witnessed by Kelsey.
She was a gonner, they tried to save her for a few minutes-Then Harry didn't want to pronounce her as dead, so Selina did.
Was quite gritty actually !!!!

Josh got stabbed and is in extensive care - Ellen got ran over my a motorbike trying to catch the person that stabbed Josh and died

Heads up guys. Casualty has just morphed into Chicago Hope complete with 'real' snow.
New director and writer have breathed new life into what was becoming a dying duck.
The slo-mo camera and flash back sequences with mood music were brilliant.
Keep it up and the Americans will be buying it

Ellen died. She got knocked down by a motorbike. Very sad.

it was ellen that died and josh is really ill, it was a tearjerker but it makes you think about that not everybody has a happy christmas!
i know i took a minute to think about all those people and how im sat here with presents under my tree all happy, and there working hard trying to save lives!

Josh the paramedic just died and so did ellen the nurse?? not sure who she is as not seen for about 2 yrs but was good drama......

Yeh i just wondered, i don't tend to watch it very often i will have to ask my MUM. Who called you a saddo....being on here all day is sad, oh that must have been me!!! lol lol lol

what an episode - very emotional.
Ellen died after she went looking for a crazy patients mother and her daughter. A bike knocked her over and her head was a mess.
