They trac him for the kids that still belive in Santa. Or should I say for the parents that can keep the lie about santa alive. Every year my oldest son 11 tires to get his brothers and sisters to not belive in Santa but he never succeeds maybe this year he will cause we hav no money for gifts this time.
Merry X-mas Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people grew up believeing there was a Santa Clause.
No matter how ridiculous it sounds they want to keep the myth going for their children. Some people even believe in myths.
Islamic youth believe they get 70 virgins in heaven. Santa Clause comes closer to the truth. But no matter how much we may want to believe something is true doesn't make it true.
Only a fool believes it.

Well, I find it far more heartening than the way that the number of DUI fatalities, stabbings, etc. are tracked for us on the nightly news.
It is refreshing.
Nice to not totally get so caught up in the ugly side of life that we can still play :) And think of how much fun it is for the kids, pretty cool.
Merry Christmas!

Because it's fun! Something parents and kids can do together. It's called "Theatre of the Imagination," the way Old-Time Radio used to be.

Hello =)

He is as real as any other phenomenon....

It is inappropriate to judge the reality of anything, really....

That being said, if there is something to be tracked, then let it be tracked, and call it Santa....

Namaste,

For the kids. It makes them really excited, and I guess it enforces the belief because it's in real life, like on the news and radio.

It's mainly for little kids, who think Santa is real!

For kids...
I dunno, Santa is cute and all, but when I have kids I'm not going to lie to them. Seems a little weird to me.
