whenever i wear lip gloss (tinted) it dries out within 15 min and makes my lips look like it has flaky color on it.
how can i fix this? Specifically, I am using mary kay lip gloss pink pearl.

I know what you mean about the lip gloss thing. I've experienced the same thing. Try wearing a fairly thick coat of lip balm underneath your lip gloss. It might feel to creamy and thick at first, but if your lips are soaking in the lip gloss quickly, then the thickness won't last for long. I hope this helps!

Try putting MAC lip glass on first and then applying the lip gloss of your choice.
If you don't like that maybe use a vaseline product.

I've tried a ton of different lipglosses/chapsticks and the only one that seems to work for me and everyone else is Burt's Bees chapstick-I swear it's the best chapstick ever! Lip gloss is more for looking cute than keeping lips moist (when I want to look cute I just put lipgloss over my chapstick). (:

Try wearing a transparent lip gloss over your color. I sugget any Revlon product

Use something else. There are a lot of brands that are really hard on my lips. I use this stuff from bath and body works now that i really like.

that doesn't sound right, they have product guarantee you should see if you can exchange it. the new formula lip gloss that just came out on dec 15th is really good.

before you put lip gloss, put Vaseline then you can put the lip gloss

Contact your rep, that isn't suppose to happen. You may have a defective gloss and they should exchange it for free

use carmex fewuently.
Lip gloss is drying to lips because it contains alcohol.
make sure your lips are moisturixed before you use any lip gloss!
