I know the program limeware is llegal, but then why does it have a search for songs for you to download then?

im not quite sure what you mean. i thought limwire was illegal and im sure there philosiphy is "it aint illegal if we dont get sued"

It's Peer2Peer, which means, say, you have a song on your computer, My Humps (lol), and you log into Limewire. Anyone else on Limewire can download My Humps from your computer, and you can download songs from other peoples computers. It is illegal, but the chance of getting caught if you download from a mirror is slim to none.

okay your wrong Limewire isnt Illegal kuz if it was they wouldnt be advertising it on the site and 2. Limewire is a sharing program if it was illegal Noone would be downloading it just like the torrentsites or Morpheus or Ares .. Kuz its not illegal thats why they have a search for songs thing on it

its limewire...& its "filesharing" so i dont think its "technically" illegal but the whole concept is not just
