Actually, they're quite compatible. They're both ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, making Gemini's great talkers, and Virgo's great listeners. I'm a Virgo and get on quite well with Gemini's. But, Sun signs aren't the only thing to consider (both astrologically and generally speaking).
