We open one gift on Christmas Eve. The rest get opened on Christmas morning.

I open presents from my Dad's side of the family on Christmas Eve and I open presents from my Mom's side on Christmas day.

My family has always opened presents on Christmas Day nice and early in the morning (though, admittedly, we open them later now that we all like to sleep in and I'm no longer a hyper 6-year old desperate to see wha Santa brought!) We did start the tradtion, however, of each opening one gift each on Christmas Eve, kind of a preview of good things to come. We always pick something that's simple and small, certainly never the gift that we feel was the highlight of our shopping!

BUT then we have some family from out of town over on New Years Eve and have My family CHRISTmas !

it was always a tradition as a kid to open one present on Christmas Eve. and the rest eraly Christmas Morning. Now as an adult we never do it that way, and it never feels like Christmas

Usually Christmas morning, unless there's something going on where we can't, and then it's Christmas eve. It's our tradition.

christmas morning, I've heard of people opening like 1 on christmas eve, but all of em? that's kinda messed up.

I open them on Boxing Day. I open my Flag Day presents on Christmas morning.
