His performance in the Cider House Rules was pitiful, and nothing I've seen him in since has shown him to be a good actor. Please tell me a good acting role he's done.

I've only ever seen him in Spider Man, not exactly the most challenging of roles, so I've got no idea.
Maybe there's hidden talent there & instead of being another talentless pretty face he actually has hidden depth?

He was also in the cast for "Empire Records" and listed in the final credits, but all his scenes were deleted. Sounds like your kind of movie. :)
