Because in this society, we equate thinness with beauty.
Prime example: Sarah Jessica Parker - thin and blonde, but look at her face!! VERY unattractive.
Ive asked your question to myself several times and have concluded that this is the only logical answer.

Not that she's ugly, but I don't understand why she continually made Most Beautiful lists or Sexy lists in magazines and shows on E! and VH1. Same with Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz too. I've never been in a group of guys talking about hot and sexy woman, and have any of those names come up in the disussion(in a positive way)
